Approval Procedure

The process for gaining the FSV-certification is bound to German, the application form and all needed documents must be written or translated to German by the applicant.

Normally the process takes 3-5 month for gaining the certification.

Procedure:

• Original application form including necessary documents (must be in German language) have to be sent via regular mail to FSV, Karlsgasse 5, 1040 Wien (in advance via e-mail to office@fsv.at possible)
• Application is checked
• Invoice for approval rate is sent to applicant
• When this invoice is settled, the contract together with the estimation of costs of the expertise is sent to the applicant (2 copies)
• Both copies of the contract have to be signed and returned to FSV
• When the signed contracts arrive at FSV, the applicant is contacted by an expert for further procedures
• When expertise is handed over to FSV by the expert, the applicant receives an invoice for costs of the expertise
• The final decision is taken by the approval committee
• With a positive decision and the settled invoice for the costs of the expertise the certification information is made available on our homepage, the original expertise and certificate are sent to the applicant
