Guidelines and Regulations for Planning, Construction and Maintenance of Roads (RVS)
These regularly updated set of rules and regulations deal with issues relating to traffic and transport on roads and are prepared and owned by the FSV. It is available in a downloadable version, and in printed form (with loose-leaf binder). The RVS guidelines are available from the FSV headquarters either as single documents or on a subscription basis.

RVS-Subscriptions
The Guidelines for the Planning, Construction and Maintenance of Roads (RVS) are also available as a RVS-subscription in German and English, ensuring that you’ll always receive the most recent updates in terms of the technical state of the art.

Guidelines and Regulations for Planning, Construction and Maintenance of Railways (RVE)
These set of rules and regulations deal with issues relating to traffic and transport on railway and are prepared and owned by the FSV. They are available as a downloadable version and in printed form. Moreover, they are also available on a RVE-subscription basis. But today there aren´t translated RVE, due to that they can be bought single or as a RVE-subscription still only in German.

FSV Dictionary (last from 2018 only in german, in the moment in revision and including particular english translations)
The FSV dictionary includes a collection of terms that are defined in the guidelines and regulations for designing, construction and maintenance of roads (RVS) and railways (RVE). This allows an easier searching of definitions of road- and railway-related terms and greater consistency in the preparation of new or revisions of RVS/RVE guidelines. Existing terms are clearly defined and have not to be redefined further times. Because of some translations of guidelines into English around 6000 terms are now listet in the translation dictionary published in 2021.

Standardized specifications of works (only in german)
Standardized specifications of works are compilations of standardized positions with descriptions and units including legal and technical regulations (contract conditions). In Austria the Public Procurement Law expects the usage of standardized specifications of works by Austrian public departments.

FSV Journal Series (in german)
The FSV journal series began in 2007 and serves as a platform for various publications such as meeting reports and final reports of FSV commissions as well as for the documentation of new findings with regard to roadway-related issues.

Road Research Journals (in german)
The Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology publishes research reports in the roadway research journal series (“Green Series”). The journals are available from the FSV shop.

Traffic Sign Catalogue (in german)
On 1 December 2015, the Austrian Research Association for Roads, Railways and Transport published a traffic sign catalogue (RVS 05.02.15), which has been prepared in collaboration with experts from both the Austrian provincial governments and the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology, including outside experts working in the fields of both science and economy.

FSV-News Roadway and FSV-News Railway (in german)
In order to expand the association’s profile in expert circles the FSV periodically publishes articles, FSV Roadway News and FSV Railway News in professional journals.

The EuroKommunal Magazine (in german)
The FSV has cooperated with the professional magazine for Austrian cities and municipalities – the EuroKommunal Magazine – since early 2012. This involves the monthly preparation and publishing of an article on a current issue regarding transportation.
